Four welded rings at the four points of the compass, on a 3 cm band that locks into itself. Most collars in the collection stop at one front ring; this one allows a lead or light chain to approach from the front, side or back without concentrating every connection on one ring. The lock is recessed into the band and opens with a key, so nothing swings and nothing sits proud against the skin.

01Four points
A junction, not an ending.
Four rings welded around the band — front, back and both sides. It means a lead or a chain can run from whichever point the position actually calls for, instead of everything being routed through one ring at the throat. We publish no load rating for the rings and nothing here is made to carry body weight.
02Lock in the band
Nothing swings at the throat.
The cylinder is recessed into the band itself rather than hung on a hasp, so there is no padlock to catch on bedding or clothing, and no protruding shackle between steel and skin. It opens with a key.
03Sized honestly
Two fits, cut to the neck.
Internal diameters of 11.7 cm and 13.6 cm, machined rather than adjusted. Measure at the base of the neck and allow two fingers of clearance — the sizing guide walks through it.
How it rigs
Open at the hinge, close on the recessed cylinder lock, keep the key with the keyholder. Any of the four rings takes a clip, a lead or a light chain — none of them is rated to carry body weight, and no piece we carry is.
Care
Wipe clean with warm water and a pH-neutral soap, then dry completely. Never use anything chlorinated. A drop of light oil on the lock barrel as needed.
