About IRONVOW

A workshop in Europe will sell you a hand-formed steel ring for €278. It will be beautiful, and the next one will be slightly different — dimensioned by eye, finished by mood, priced by the hour. That is the tradition this category grew up in: metalwork as craft, sold one piece at a time.

We come from the other tradition. IRONVOW is run by engineers, and it is built on China's precision metalworking industry — the machining, stamping, welding, and finishing capacity that supplies the world's tool and instrument makers, working to drawings and tolerances rather than to feel.

That is the whole idea, and it fits on a line: engineered, not improvised.

In practice it means a part is drawn before it is made. Stock is specified by grade — 304 stainless across the range, electropolished and passivated where steel rests against skin longest. Fit is a number with a tolerance, not a description. Powder coating is a process with a film thickness, not a colour choice. A hinge that closes correctly on the first unit closes correctly on the thousandth, because the thousandth came off the same fixture. When a spring gate wears out, we send you a spring gate, because it is a part with a number rather than a feature of an artefact.

Everything ships from our own warehouse inside the European Union, in plain boxes, on domestic transit times, with no customs surprises.

We are new, and we would rather say so than invent a heritage. We hold no certifications we have not earned, publish no test results we cannot show you, and rate nothing for loads it was not designed to carry. The pending reports are listed openly on our FAQ.
