Twelve millimetres of solid 304 through the wall and forty millimetres tall. This is the far end of what a collar can be and still be worn: a machined ring with depth you can see end-on, a cylinder lock recessed into the steel, and a single front O-ring. At this wall thickness there is no give at all, so measure before you order — a size that is nearly right is not right.

01Twelve millimetres
Depth you can see end-on.
The Regent, our wide statement collar, runs 7 mm through the wall. This one runs twelve. Look at it edge-on and the difference is not a specification, it is a silhouette — and on the throat it reads the same way.
02One moving part
A hinge and a lock, nothing else.
Two machined halves on a hinge knuckle, closing on a cylinder recessed into the steel rather than a padlock hung on a hasp. The only parts standing proud of the band are the lock face and the front lug, so there is far less to catch on bedding or clothing than a padlocked collar — check the fit and the lock before each wear all the same.
03Three fits
Because nearly right is not right.
Internal diameters of 11.7 cm and 13.7 cm. A softer collar hides a bad measurement by giving; a 12 mm wall of 304 gives nothing at all. Measure at the base of the neck, allow two fingers, and take the larger size if you fall between — the sizing guide walks through it.
How it rigs
Open at the hinge, close on the recessed cylinder, and keep the key where you can reach it in the dark. The front O-ring takes a lead or a light chain — not body weight; nothing we carry is rated to carry a person.
Care
Warm water, pH-neutral soap, dry completely. Never chlorinated cleaners or steel wool. A drop of light oil on the lock barrel as needed.
